Visit the Mascot Hall of Fame

Saturday, June 15, 2019 | 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Get ready to join fellow UD alumnus and Mr. Blue Hen himself, YoUDee, at the inaugural Mascot Hall of Fame Induction Weekend Fan Fest! This venue, honoring great U.S. sports mascots, was founded by UD alumnus David Raymond, HS79, who was the original Phillie Phanatic from 1978 to 1993. A private space will be provided to enjoy Fan Fest which includes lunch, soft drinks, personal appearances by YoUDee and David, themed activities and giveaways. Guests are encouraged to explore the museum after.

See the newest inductees, including Chicago’s own Benny the Bull and Tommy Hawk, along with UD friends and family!

Cost: $10 adults, $5 children ages 3–11

Note: Registration deadline is Thursday, June 13, 2019. No walk-ups permitted. Limit six tickets per party. Additional cost of $12 for museum, paid on-site. FREE parking is available at the museum.

Crosstown Classic Baseball Game: Chicago Cubs @ White Sox

Sunday, July 7, 2019 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., ChiSox Bar and Grill  |  320 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL 60616 (Gate 5)

1:10 p.m. First pitch at Guaranteed Rate Field  |   333 W 35th St., Chicago, IL 60616

Blue Hens, it’s as Chicagoan as deep dish pizza, celery salt with your hot dog and the river going green on St. Patrick’s Day—we’re talking about the Cubs vs. the White Sox! Join your fellow UD alumni for an afternoon of networking and enjoying America’s pastime. Our day starts at ChiSox Bar and Grill across the street from Guaranteed Rate Field where you’ll enjoy appetizers and pick up your tickets. After that settle in for the Chicago Crosstown Classic as the North Siders visit the South Side for a Sunday showdown!

Cost: $46 (includes food at ChiSox Bar and Grill before the game)
Additional cost: Food at the game, alcohol and parking

Note: Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 3. No walk-ups permitted. Limit four tickets per party. Tickets will be distributed at ChiSox before the game. Additional cash required for stadium parking and cash bar.

Public Transportation: Guaranteed Rate Field is easily accessed via public transportation. The area is serviced by CTA's Red Line and Green Line, a Metra/Rock Island stop and a number of bus routes. See for details.
