A Night at Arena Stage: Watch on the Rhine

Thursday, March 2
7:15 – 11:00 p.m.

Arena Stage (1101 6th St. SW, Washington, DC 20024)

Cost: $45; plus parking, food for purchase prior to play and during admission

Join us at Arena Stage for Watch on the Rhine featuring UD alum Thomas Keegan as David Farrelly. Ticket price includes one drink ticket (which can be enjoyed pre-show or during intermission), and a meet-and-greet with Thomas after the play. Seats are located in rows E and F (5th and 6th row)!

We have a reservation for a table in the cafe for our group to meet starting at 7:15. Please arrive no later than 7:45 to receive your ticket. The play begins at 8:00. After the show, stick around to meet Thomas.

About the play: With America on the brink of entering World War II, Fanny's daughter escapes to the D.C. suburbs with her German husband, a man deeply involved in anti-fascist movements. But with an Eastern European guest with ulterior motives also living in their midst, tensions rise as it becomes clear that no one's safety can be guaranteed — at home or abroad.

It’s also of particular interest as a piece set just prior to the United States’ involvement in World War II that was actually written in 1941, in the midst of the action described by the show.

Public Transportation: Waterfront Metro (Green line). For details on directions and other transportation methods, visit: www.arenastage.org.

Refund deadline is February 17, 2017.

Registration closes February 23. Unfortunately, walk-ins will not be permitted.

Join a Committee

The UD DC Alumni Club is growing and we need your help! For those of you that want to help but don't have a lot of time, we've created two committees: the Social Committee and the University Committee. The Social Committee will help plan and run happy hours, game watches, cultural and similar events. The University Committee will help with our new community service and other UD engagements.

Committees are the easiest way to bring new ideas to the club as our membership is rapidly growing. If you have an interest, please email alumnet@udel.edu.
