The UD New York City Alumni Club invites you to join alumni, students and friends at their second annual An Evening of Conversations & Connections with New York City Alumni. As we showcase talented UD alumni we mix business and pleasure at this event hosted at JP Morgan Chase featuring Blue Hen Kenneth Whitney BE80, Senior Managing Director, Blackstone, who will address "Alternative Investments and Expectations for Returns in the Near Future." UD Director of Admissions Jose A. Aviles will address the audience on his new role in Admissions and speak on current University topics. Click here to read speaker biographies.

The evening’s theme "Lessons in Global Strategies" will feature an interactive discussion focused on the ever-increasing importance of engaging in worldwide business and communications across all industries. A panel of alumni from the areas of finance, not-for-profit, international affairs and retail industries will discuss local and global relationships, business, the University, job experiences and career paths. Confirmed panelists include Deborah Brenner AS88, (Founder and President, Women of the Vine), Devin Stewart AS96 (Senior Program Director, Carnegie Council), and Edmond Sannini BE78 (Managing Director, Internal Audit, Morgan Stanley) along with keynote speaker Ken Whitney. A question and answer session will follow the panel discussion which will be moderated by UD Alumni Association president Darelle Lake Riabov EH73 (recently retired Assistant Vice President, Corporate Communications, BlueCross BlueShield of Delaware).

This series highlights how Blue Hen industry leaders living and working in New York City got to where they are today and how UD played a role in their rise. Connect with friends, make new contacts and learn from successful Blue Hens why they have such a passion for UD.

After the program there is more networking followed immediately by a post-event party at La Soffita in Gild Hall, at 15 Gold Street to continue the conversations & connections with fellow Blue Hens.

The cost includes the program and networking reception with light food and beverages for all attendees. Registration closes on February 19. No refunds will be made after February 12.

Special thanks to the UD Alumni Association for providing support for this event, JP Morgan Chase for the venue, and to the UD New York City Alumni Club for their extensive planning.
