UDAA Pre-game Event at Women's Basketball

Bob Carpenter Sports Arena, University of Delaware

Prior to watching the Blue Hens take on James Madison, join the UD Alumni Association for a pregame reception in the lobby of the new addition of the Bob Carpenter Center. The menu consists of coconut shrimp with pineapple salsa, vegetarian spring rolls with ginger-soy dipping sauce, fresh fruit skewers with fresh mint and strawberry dipping sauce, assorted mini Bing’s roll sandwiches to include turkey with cranberry mayo, tomato and mozzarella with fresh basil and roast beef with horseradish sauce, assorted mini brownies and cookies and soda, lemonade, water, coffee and tea. Seating is limited in the reception area.

This event, which includes a ticket to the game (in section 12), costs $18 for adults over 12, $12 for kids 2-12 years old. If you already have a ticket to the game, you can just purchase a reception pass, but you will need your game ticket to enter the Bob. Tickets purchased as part of this event will be available for pick-up at the event registration tables when you arrive. Children age 1 and younger do not need to purchase a game ticket or pay for the reception. Also, at 2:45 pm Coach Tina Martin will stop by the event to talk about the game and the program.

All attendees are encouraged to wear pink as part of the ’Dare to be Strong’ Women’s Health Awareness women’s basketball game. Special “pink” game day shirts for the February 24th game are available for purchase before February 15th. Visit a special webpage on the UD Athletics website for all the details.
