Join Sussex County Blue Hens for an intimate "house concert" style performance by UD alumna Melissa Cox '05 at Savannah Inn in Lewes, owned and operated by Double Dels Gina '05 and D. Turner Hastings '05. Each guest will receive one complimentary beer or wine refreshment and homemade dessert. Come mix and mingle with fellow UD graduates and meet members of the Kent & Sussex County Alumni Club board.

Melissa Cox is a graduate of UD, a multi-instrumentalist and international touring artist specializing in Celtic, folk rock and World Fusion music. She is described as performing a “sophisticated, highly arranged approach to roots music” by Sing Out! Magazine. Joining Melissa on a few songs will be her husband, bass player, and fellow UD graduate Matt Smith '05. When she's not touring the country, Melissa works part-time for UD's Office of Alumni Relations in the Communications department.

Double Dels Gina and Turner Hastings own and operate Savannah Inn, a renovated turn of the century brick Victorian home in historic Lewes. A retreat for the mind, body and spirit, Savannah Inn is conveniently located near Delaware's beach attractions. Rates start at $140 per night and include a two-course breakfast for a couple.
