Our panel of distinguished UD alumni:
♦ John G. Gaul (’78) is a director at Maron Marvel Bradley & Anderson in Philadelphia. He has more than 30 years of experience in the management of national asbestos litigation on behalf of numerous corporate defendants, first with the Asbestos Claims Facility, then as Director of Law for the Center for Claims Resolution. He has extensive experience as in-house and national coordinating counsel, and he actively advises clients in mass tort litigation.
♦ David Stern (’97) is a founding partner of Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano in Philadelphia. Since 2000, Mr. Stern has practiced in the area of workers’ compensation litigation, and he has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. At the University of Delaware, Mr. Stern was a Division One athlete and obtained a degree in finance. He actively engages in pro bono work for the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program and he was enrolled in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania’s Pro Bono Roll of Honor in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
♦ Brian Kent (’00) is a partner at Laffey Bucci Kent, LLP where his practice focuses on construction accidents, medical malpractice and products liability. In 2008, Mr. Kent was one of only 35 attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania to be named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track.” Mr. Kent has a Masters in Trial Advocacy from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and currently serves as a lecturer in the trial advocacy program at Drexel University School of Law. Prior to representing personal injury victims, Mr. Kent was a prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Unit of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
