Join us at Arena Stage for Watch on the Rhine featuring UD alum Thomas Keegan as David Farrelly. Ticket price includes one drink ticket (which can be enjoyed pre-show or during intermission), and a meet-and-greet with Thomas after the play. Seats are located in rows E and F (5th and 6th row)!
We have a reservation for a table in the cafe for our group to meet starting at 7:15. Please arrive no later than 7:45 to receive your ticket. The play begins at 8:00. After the show, stick around to meet Thomas.
About the play: With America on the brink of entering World War II, Fanny's daughter escapes to the D.C. suburbs with her German husband, a man deeply involved in anti-fascist movements. But with an Eastern European guest with ulterior motives also living in their midst, tensions rise as it becomes clear that no one's safety can be guaranteed — at home or abroad.
It’s also of particular interest as a piece set just prior to the United States’ involvement in World War II that was actually written in 1941, in the midst of the action described by the show.
Public Transportation: Waterfront Metro (Green line). For details on directions and other transportation methods, visit: www.arenastage.org.
Refund deadline is February 17, 2017.
