The cost for each evening is $20 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine.

Faculty and Topics:

Bridgeville: Tuesday, April 30 | 5:30 p.m. | Heritage Shores Club

  • SHINING A LIGHT ON BREAST CANCER
    April Kloxin
Assistant Professor, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Materials Science Engineering
Light responsive materials shed a light on how changes in the body influence the dormancy and re-activation of breast cancer cells, ultimately uncovering signs that lead to recurrence.
  • SEASONS OF CHANGE
    Daniel Leathers
Professor, Department of Geology, and Director, Meteorology & Climatology
Spring, summer, winter and fall. The Northeast is a land of all seasons—what does that tell us in terms of climate change…today and tomorrow?
  • LITERACY FOR ALL: HOW DO ALL KIDS BECOME READERS?
    Steve Amendum
DCTE Faculty Scholar in Literacy and Associate Professor, Literacy Education
Although some young students struggle with reading, there is clear evidence about effective reading instruction. Working to bridge the gap between research and practice is vital to ensure literacy for all.
