Round up the whole family and join us for a special volunteer event at Alemany Farm, San Francisco’s largest urban farm. Our day includes a farm tour and opportunities to learn where your food comes from and pitch in on the farm. Plus, you’ll take home freshly harvested food!

Alemany Farm run by volunteers with a mission to bring food security to the community. All produce grown on the farm is given away for free to neighbors, volunteers and various groups in the area.

Please bring:
• water bottle
• hat
• sturdy shoes
• jacket with layered clothing underneath
• sunscreen
• snacks
• bag to bring home your produce

Stay the whole day or volunteer whatever time you have and enjoy an afternoon outdoors with fellow Blue Hens!

Note: Registration deadline is Wednesday, November 20. Limit six registrants per party. Walk-ups are permitted, meet us in the gravel parking lot to sign up.

Public transportation: Glen Park is the closest BART station. It is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride to the farm.
