Back with a new date and a great time for all ages! Step back in time and out onto the water with your fellow Blue Hens. Join us for a day of fun, sun and history in the San Diego Bay with an afternoon cruise. The San Salvador is a replica of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo’s four-masted, 100-foot galleon, the first European ship to arrive at the port we now call San Diego in 1542.

This one-of-a-kind experience for all ages starts with optional light snacks and drinks on the dock, plus a short history of the ship, followed by a private two-hour sail around the harbor. Please arrive by no later than 2:30 p.m. for the cruise. Once back on land, we’ll cap off the night with a UD reception, featuring a cash bar and apps.

Don’t miss your opportunity to explore San Diego’s rich maritime history and see the harbor from a whole new perspective. Home to a world-class collection of historic sailing ships, steam-powered boats, and submarines, each offering entertaining and educational exhibits, the entire Maritime Museum of San Diego is open to you for exploring either before or after our cruise. It’s a great outing for friends and family so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity with this Blue Hen day!

Cost: $39 for adults; $15 for children 18 and under

Note: Registration deadline is Friday, November 14 at 9 a.m. Refund deadline is Friday, November 1 at 4 p.m. No walk-ups permitted, pre-registration is required. Limit four tickets per party. Additional cost for parking and cash bar at post-cruise reception.
