Join the local Kent & Sussex Alumni Club at Doc Magrogan’s for Trivia Night! The game starts at 6:30 p.m. and we’ll have a reserved table for our team; space is limited so register early. Happy Hour drink specials include $1.50-2 domestic drafts, $2 well drinks and half-priced priced select appetizers.

Volunteering at Whatcoat Shelter
Saturday, Feb. 25, 11am - 1pm
People's Place 2, Whatcoat Shelter
(3 Vera's Way, Dover)
Please join us as we serve lunch at Whatcoat Shelter in Dover. Our volunteers will help the staff serve lunch to the families residing in the shelter. Please bring a few canned goods or other items to donate to their food pantry. Make sure to wear UD colors and space is limited so register soon. Whatcoat provides case management services for families with incomes at or below 125% poverty level. Enrollment is open to anyone, but priority is given to homeless individuals and families, victims of domestic violence and those formerly in foster care. Services include assistance with obtaining employment, housing, continuing education and increasing income.

Private Cooking Class at Big Fish Grill
Sat., March 3, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Big Fish Grill
(4117 Hwy One, Rehoboth Beach)
Join UD alumni for the first event of its kind in southern Delaware. Learn how to make your favorite Big Fish dish! The class with begin with coffee and breakfast at 10 a.m. You’ll meet the chef, take a tour of the Seafood Market and learn how to fillet a whole fish. Enjoy an appetizer, soup and salad and then participate in the entrée demonstration. If you still have room, you’ll also be treated to dessert. This comprehensive cooking class is normally $75 but with special funding from the UD Alumni Association we’re able to offer it at the discounted rate of $65 per person. Due to limited space, each alumni can only purchase two tickets.

Applications Being Accepted for Kent & Sussex Counties Club Board Positions
To be considered for any of the club's board positions, email your resume and a statement of interest to applications@UDconnection.com. The statement should touch on your potential contribution to the club, volunteer experience and how you have stayed involved with the UD community since graduation.
