Blue Hens and Holsteins at Hopkins' Farm
Saturday, June 8, 10:00 a.m.
Hopkins' Green Acres Farm and Creamery (18186 Dairy Farm Rd, Lewes, DE)
Cost: $2.50, includes tour and single dip cone. Rain or shine. Limited to 40 registrations.
Register now for this eventEnjoy an authentic experience of a real working dairy farm. Meet members of the Hopkins family (Walter C. Hopkins and Creamery Store Manager Jacob Hunt are Blue Hens) who will be your hosts during a guided tour that will include a fascinating look at the modern milking process. See technology meeting organization and dedication at a premiere family farm. Pet a baby calf! Listen to the story of how Hopkins Farm Creamery was established in 2008 and taste for yourself why the silo crested with ice cream cones is a favorite landmark.
After the tour, UD alumni families are welcome to set up and enjoy their own lunch in the picnic area and small children will enjoy the playground activities provided by the Hopkins family and their staff. Please wear farm friendly foot gear and blue and gold!
UD Alumni Baseball Series: Shorebirds Game

$15 per person.
Join fellow UD families and friends for a night at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to cheer on the Delmarva Shorebirds! All attendees will have access to an all-you-can-eat buffet in the Picnic Pavilion. Make sure to stick around after the game for fireworks! Tickets can be picked up at will call. Thanks to the UD Alumni Association for their support of this event.
