NYC New Student Send-Off

Wednesday, July 20

As a Blue Hen, help us welcome incoming freshman and their immediate families at our New Student Send-Off event. Share your stories of life at UD and meet area alumni, families, UD faculty and staff.

A brief program includes introductory remarks followed by meet-and-greet and Q&A sessions for students and their families with UD representatives.

Cost: Free

Registration is requested so we may plan for food, but walk-ins are allowed.

Special thanks to NYC Deans Council member, Elan Keller, BE'94 for hosting us at his firm.

Public Transportation: Very accessible location with four major subway lines (A/C/E ; 1/2/3; B/D; N/R/Q) circling the venue from any direction. Best options may be to 7th Avenue; suggestions include:
   N/ R/ Q of B/D to 57th St – 7th Ave
   1/C/E to 50th St
   A/B/C/D or 1 to Columbus Circle

If you can't make this event, two additional New Student Send-off events will be held in Northern New Jersey this summer (Little Falls and Montvale).


NYC Alumni Club Baseball Series Part 1: Colorado Rockies vs. New York Mets

Sunday, July 31

12:00 p.m.: McFadden’s (36-02 126th Street, Flushing, NY, 11368)
1:10 p.m.: Citi Field (120-01 Roosevelt Ave., Flushing, NY 11368)

Cost: $40
Additional cost: Cash bar and food

Seats are on the Budweiser Landing, Section 336 (left field, lower landing).

Pick up your tickets at McFadden’s bar (outside of Citi Field) starting an hour before the game. Food & beverages are available for purchase. Then we will walk to the stadium together before the game. McFadden’s opens three hours prior to game time for those who want to come earlier.

NYC Alumni Club Baseball Series Part 2: Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees

Sunday, August 7

11:00 a.m. Picnic opens
1:05 p.m. First pitch

Cost: $75
Additional cost: $35 for 2-hour open bar (beer and wine)

Come join the UD NYC Alumni Club for a great day of baseball at Yankee Stadium in Part 2 of our annual Baseball Series. All-you-can-eat food and soft drinks picnic opens two hours before the first pitch.

Our seats are in Section 133 (left field by foul post, lower level).

Come out to the ballgame and root for the boys in pinstripes on a great afternoon of fun with fellow Blue Hens and families!
