I want to help our class leave something behind for future students to remember us by, and I love UD! Because all the people are so nice and I’ve made so many friendships that I know are going to last forever. To help out the University and get ready to donate more when I’m older.

I joined the SCGC because I really love the University and I wanted to help give back to the school. I love the school spirit. It’s great going to a football game and seeing everyone wearing blue and gold and cheering for the team. People here really love the University and are true Blue Hens. It is important to give back because the University runs mostly on donations and gifts from alumni and in order to continue UD’s Path to Prominence® everyone must give.

The Assistant Dean of my College called me and said he had recommended me for the Committee, and asked if I was interested, and I said Yeah! I love UD for its gorgeous campus, great academic opportunities, and its study abroad programs. For me, it’s important to give back because UD has given me four incredible years that I wouldn’t change for the world!

Because I care about UD and want to stress the importance of giving back to your University. Philanthropy is such an important aspect of running UD and I want to increase students awareness. I love UD because of the spirit, the people and the student life. There are so many organizations to get involved in and so many opportunities to take advantage of, it helped me to realize my career goals. It’s important for me to give back because I want to assure that future student generations have an amazing experience like mine at UD.

The University of Delaware has become my home away home over the past several years. I have developed a passion for the campus community. By joining the Senior Class Gift Committee I am able to give back to the University that has given me so much during my college years. I have realized the importance of being philanthropic and supporting UD. I look forward to helping the entire student body realize that without the generous support and donations of alumni there would be no UD. My passion and love for UD is for two reasons, the people and the community. The friends that I have developed while at UD will last lifetime the memories will last forever and the small town of Newark has provided me with a sense of community and school pride and spirit over the past few years. Without the charitable support of those alumni who came before us the University would not be able to operate because tuition coves less than half of what it actually cost to run the University. For that reason alone it is important to be an active alumnus and give back. It is also important to help ensure that the University continues to grow and takes strides towards becoming a more prestigious educational institution because it will add more value to my degree and make me even more proud to be a Blue Hen!
