UD Boston Alumni Dare to Care: Cradle to Crayons

Saturday, October 29
1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

The Giving Factory (155 North Beacon Street, Brighton, MA 02135)

Cost: Free, but you must pre-register. No walk-ins allowed.

Join fellow Boston Blue Hens at The Giving Factory to help Cradles to Crayons in assisting disadvantaged younger children in Massachusetts.

Exact duties will be determined upon arrival, but could include inspecting, sorting and packaging donations. Everyone is encouraged to bring a donation with them. Feel free to check the "Most Needed Items" section as the event gets closer.

Children under 18 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult. (No children under 5 yrs.)

Parking: There are a few parking spaces in front of the building that are first come, first serve. On-street parking is available on North Beacon Street and Etna Street. Please do not park in the New Balance parking garage or in spaces designated for CORT Furniture. We apologize for any inconvenience as construction around our building continues.

Local Bus Routes: 86, 70, or 57

Registration closes October 24. Unfortunately, walk-ins will not be permitted.

Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the New England Aquarium

New England Aquarium (1 Central Wharf, Boston, MA 02109)

Behind-The-Scenes Tour - Tour times to select are 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. (you will be asked to choose when you register).
Please arrive at tour starting point 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.

$45.95 - Adults (18 yrs.+)
$38.95 - Children (8 - 17 yrs.)
$43.95 - Senior Citizens

Cost includes NEAq admission, guided tour, & our group lunch. Open to alumni & their guests 8 years and older. Limit 4 tickets per party.

Join Blue Hens for a behind-the-scenes tour at the New England Aquarium (NEAq) with Blue Hen group lunch. Alumni and friends will get a more in-depth view of the operations of the NEAq and a personalized peek at the life behind the glass of one of the Aquarium’s many galleries. There will also be time to explore the exhibits on your own after your tour (you will gain admission to the aquarium at the tour entry point).

Getting There: Blue Line - Aquarium Stop (100 yards from NEAq); Orange Line - State Stop (8 minute walk); Green Line - Government Center Stop (10 minute walk); Red Line - South Station stop (10-15 minute walk)
