Since 1983 it has been a tradition at the University of Delaware, as a part of Commencement exercises, that alumni and members of the 50th reunion class march in the procession honoring the graduating class. Often many of the delegates who participate are related to a degree candidate and walk in honor of their family legacy.
Alumni delegates follow the graduating class into Delaware Stadium and are seated on Raymond Field near the stage. Names of alumni delegates are printed in the Commencement program, special parking is granted to delegates and delegate guests are seated in special box seating.
Delegates and their guest are also invited to a reception in the Bob Carpenter Club at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center prior to the Commencement ceremony. Confirmation and parking instructions will be emailed to all delegates in mid-May.

The registration form for 2016 delegates will go live mid-Spring.
