Engineering Alumni Association Scholarship Fund Golf Outing at UD Alumni Weekend

Deerfield Country Club (507 Thompson Station Rd.), Newark
This event raises funds for the Engineering Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment Fund. Income from this fund provides annual scholarships to students in the College of Engineering based on academic achievement and financial need.

Mechanical Engineering Alumni Career Celebration and Reunion
Friday, June 3, 12:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Roselle Center for the Arts
The Department of Mechanical Engineering will host its 7th annual alumni event providing classmates and faculty an opportunity to reconnect, hear cutting-edge presentations, socialize and exchange ideas. The Alumni Career Celebration has been notable for topics such as renewable and alternative energy, global engineering business opportunities, and case studies by alumni and faculty. The event will conclude with presentations of the Distinguished Career Awards to honor alumni whose careers are significant by virtue of their accomplishments and innovations. Following the awards, join faculty, alumni and friends for networking and refreshments.

Panel Discussion: Forging a Career with an Engineering Degree sponsored by Women in Engineering

A distinguished panel of Engineering alumnae will discuss successful career strategies. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. This event provides an opportunity for new women engineering professionals to exchange ideas, expand their professional network and reconnect with fellow Blue Hens. Panelists include: Susan L. Best '76, P.E. of the Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia , Dr. Karen M. Bloch ’85 ’97M ‘04 PhD of DuPont, Dr. Pearl Chin ’96 PhD of Seraphima Ventures, Dr. Pamela S.
