Get Involved

The University offers several opportunities for alumni to stay involved with UD and their fellow classmates, including volunteer opportunities and helping students through mentorship, internships and employment. In addition, alumni are invited to attend Commencement and Parents & Family Weekend.

Spanning the entire world, the UD Community provides a network and support system available to all students and alumni.  This community encompasses Blue Hens of all ages, ethnicities, and professions.  Considering that the majority of jobs and business opportunities are found through networking, it is of paramount importance, especially in the current economic situation, to continue to grow and engage the entire UD alumni network.

Alumni can volunteer through their local club or the UD Alumni Association, become a VAST volunteer, or mentor a student through the Career Services Center.

Parents are invited to attend the University's annual Parents & Family Weekend and participate in The Parent Board.

Want to be more involved with UD and the alumni community? Then serving on your regional alumni club board is for you!

Spirit Ambassadors are current students who participate in alumni and University events and act as a voice for the entire University community
